Hi, I need help from the regular China/Japan flyers.
I have stuffed up the return dates to Australia on flights MEL//HKG-
//MEL and need to buy a couple of tickets to fill in the void which will be middle to late November, with those returns being Jan/Feb 2010. Trust I haven't confused you. Preference for Business class on TG,SQ,QF or CX with mileage. Anyone over there that's aware of any good fares, I can buy on arrival or on the net, I would be grateful. regards bkkrop
TG website prices from Korea to Australia in discounted business class are about half of what they are from Japan to Australia. If it's possible for you to hop over to Korea, you'll likely save some money unless there's some great deals to be had via other means. For China, I don't know as I haven't booked tickets from there. Out of TPE though there are some great discounted business class fares to the U.S. Not sure though how they stack up going to Australia. If you're in HKG, TG flies from there directly to either ICN or TPE.
From Korea, discounted business fares ICN-MEL R/T are just under 2,500,00 KRW, or roughly $2000 US.

AHO - how did you find these QF prices? When i search on the QF site ex-ICN, I only get the Asiana code share flights...
Hi jtraveller, I checked these last week, seat your screen to "best fare +_3days" and the initial flight will be Asiana then QF take over from HKG. There were better fares ex HKG for the time frame I wanted, considering I had no need to go to ICN, regards bkkrop
