intl arrivals in AUS (main terminal)

Austin Bergstrom is my home airport and there is one part of the airport I've never really heard much about and am curious. I know we haven't had a single intl arrival at the main terminal in years but was wondering, where was the immigration/customs line at? I recall seeing baggage claim carousel 6 being in a secluded area (you can walk to it now from outside...) but what gates were set up to accept intl arrivals? (and i don't mean pre-cleared flights from canada).

I believe gates 1-6 are setup so that they can be turned into international gates. There is an escalator, two sets of stairs, and an elevator over there that would dump you right by carousel 6.

Air Canada service ends September 7.
