Good places to spot planes at IAH

Places to go spotting at IAH
Are there any good places to watch the planes at Houston(IAH)? Without having to go to the parking garage and pay. I know how to get around IAH just don't know where any good spotting places are.

How about the revolving restaurant at the top of the Marriott IAH? Obviously you'll have to buy a drink but it might be a fun way to enjoy a lunch or a cocktail.
