Funfair parks in Houston?

Might head there in November, and from what I can see the Six Flags there closed down in 2005. Has this been replaced by another park?

No theme park like the Six Flags in Houston anymore.
There is couple of small theme park close by in Galveston(Pleasure Pier) and Kemah(Boardwalk), but nothing too exciting.

I'm afraid that Houston in November will be a huge letdown. There's not much to do in the city and the fact that it's 45 minutes to the coast won't mean much when it's 65 and chilly.

Then again, if you're in Oslo, that may be PERFECT swimming weather

65? November is one of the best weather months in Houston along with the Spring months. Astroworld did indeed close. There are plans for a big park in the Kingwood area but that could take years.

In terms of rides, for smaller kids there are some at Space Center Houston, and Kemah boardwalk. The Galveston pleasure pier has the most now.

There are several large waterparks but depending on what time in November they will be closed or weekend only if warm enough.
