Unhappy Blocked from the BA forum due to new long descriptive addresses

The lounge computer I am on at the moment is blocking the BA forum as it is linking the end "s" in British Airways with the "Ex" starting executive club and deciding it is objectionable.

Is there any way to browse FT using the old addresses to get around this problem?

I tried that but it resolves automatically to the new format and thus blocked. I'm no longer at the lounge where I had the issue so cannot test ideas out, but it is one used by lots of FTers (LHR CX F lounge).

I think your issue is with the censorship in the BA lounge, although maybe the BA mods can be bribed to change the thread title to subvert the censorship.

FT is now using vBSEO on top of vBulletin -- glad to see they're staying on top of the game.

No. It was CX lounge. It was only the BA forum that was blocked, not other forums. It was not thread specific as far as I could tell.

Kiwi, give http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/f-446/ a try, this should get you around the filter that lounge is using.

Im now 5 countries later so a bit late for me to test it out. It was in LHR T3 CX F lounge if anyone else can try.

I did try accessing using the old showforum address. That didn´t work.

But the problematic formatting appears in the URLs in all of the threads, so one wouldn't be able to browse threads.
