Error message in logging out the 1st attempt

Why is it recently I have been unsuccessful in logging out of my user name account during the 1st attempt where I would get such message:
An error occurred while attempting to log you out. Click here to log out.
I would then have to click on that "Click here to log out" link on the 2nd attempt to finally have everything logged out. I've encountered this problem for almost a week on both firefox and IE.

...as have I, whether I am on a Macintosh computer using Netscape 7.02 on System 9.2.2 or using Safari 1.0.3 on Mac OS X 10.2.8.

I've been getting that error message in addition to having to log in frequently.

Same here. Need to "Click here..." to log out completely. I seem to have solved the initial problem of constantly being thrown out simply by clicking on the box "Remember Me"...

Same Here!

It's been happening to me in the last two weeks too. Glad to know it's not just me.

Could it has something to do with the system tweaking things going on recently?

I have implemented a fix that should resolve this for anyone that has had this problem logging out. If you still have the problem the first thing to try is manually clearing your cookies for flyertalk.com, .flyertalk.com, www.flyertalk.com, web1.flyertalk.com and web2.flyertalk.com. If the logout doesn't work after doing this let us know... Thanks,

The fix worked for me.

The problem has been resolved.

Thank you once again, Tim at WebFlyer!

Thanks for going back to the one-step sign-out as it's back working for me. ^

I've been having the opposite problem. I didn't change a thing in my computer/browser configuration but as of yesterday, when I return to FT, it never automatically logs me back in even though I've ticked the "remember me" box.
