I saw that, too. It's back to normal - for now. I should have captured the screen. Weird.

Huh...same here. I restarted my browser and that didn't help. Thought I'd go over to Technical Issues before rebooting my machine.

I also see the quick reply button.

Maybe FT is trying some new features and something got hosed on their end?

Or, maybe it was...no, never mind!

Well, it's 30 secs later and it seems to be fixed....except there is still that box when posting a message that says "Please click one of the Quick Reply icons in the posts above to activate Quick Reply"

Veddy interesting!

I like the new Quick Reply boxes.. however, I don't know why I am now missing the convenient dropdown menu to change to a different forum (originally located at the bottom right corner of a page).

Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but now I've to follow back up the breadcrumb or back to the forum list to move to another forum. Just seems to the time saved from this quick reply (which is nice, btw), will be returned when you move to a different forum. Personally, I move to various fora more than replying...

NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!

PLEASE don't take away the quick forum drop-down box!

The main forum pages are very large and slow to download on a dialup or GPRS link, and the quick drop-down box for forum change is the ONLY thing that makes FT usable on such a connection.

I am already missing this after just ten minutes of it going.

PLEASE bring back the forum selection box. ASAP. Like now.

Looks like the drop down menu is back.

So what exactly is the benefit of Quick Reply?
