Cool Firefox/Linux crashing when loading Flyertalk pages

I probably represent a small subset of the Flyertalk community, but perhaps someone is familiar with this problem, and maybe even knows a workaround...

I'm running Firefox 1.0 on Gentoo linux. Flyertalk seems to be the only website that can crash my browser, and it happens quite frequently. It's not always on the same spot, and sometimes if I try 3-4 times to load a crashing page it will work.

It will happen when trying to log in, when trying to list the forums, when trying to load a thread. There is something about Flyertalk that doesn't mesh well with Flyertalk. It may be the popup blocker trying to block the flyertalk popups.

Any ideas?
