how accurate is the # of views?

just curious. Doesn't seem to be too accurate in some cases (under-counts)

The view count from the posts that were loaded in prior to 4/1 are wildly inaccurate. You've got some threads with 600 posts and two views! What I'm guessing is that the view count total only picks up activity since FT switched over to vBB.
But what the hell do I know? I shouldn't even be posting an opinion on a Tech issue! I consider changing a light bulb to be a high tech accomplishment.

I don't think that is correct, if I'm not mistaken, the import made all the page views identical to the amount of replies + 1.

Just look at one of the last pages on Omni to see:

In most cases that seems to have been the case, but I have also seen some anamolous cases, e.g. the 60 replies but only 2 views. Perhaps it's a feature, and not a bug, of the thread import procedure.
