Page keeps scrolling to the left on my phone

Only been happening for the last week or so but most of the time, on my Samsung S8+, when i scroll down the page, the page shifts up to 2 inches to the left. It can take a few seconds for any further response when I try to shift it back.
It's as if there's a load of empty space that makes the screen oversized.

Is this happening on any thread you visit or one in particular? And I assume this is on the "Desktop"/full site view, correct?

Any page using the mobile version. Only this website as far as I'm aware.
Everything seems centrally placed.

Can you please post a screenshot of what you are seeing? I am unable to trigger this in either portrait or landscape mode (mobile skin) on Android.

I have had this too, as recently as yesterday. Galaxy S7 using Chrome. Mobile website version.

Next time it happens I'll try to remember to take a screenshot. The only way I can get out of it is to back out to the last page, then it will return to normal.

Ok, just got one. The first image is right after it scrolled to the left (it scrolls, not jumps). I am still able to scroll up and down (second pic) but can't re center it.

Samsung Galaxy S7
Chrome browser
Page: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/dini...t-bbq-usa.html. It happens on others too.

I think (not sure) that when I tried to scroll up, my thumb was on the top ad in the first image. When I scrolled I definitely used a straight down motion, no left or right at all.

I can't for the life of me get my iPhone 6+ to do it, on same thread, in mobile skin view.

Couldn't replicate it on Android, either. When you scroll through the page, there's nothing (ad, text, etc) that extends into that otherwise blank space?
