Currently there is no "official" FlyerTalk Android app supported by Internet Brands / FlyerTalk. There is currently no plan for such a product in the future.

The "flyertalk" app by devproapps_android is available through the Google Play store is not supported by FlyerTalk.

On mobile devices, one may choose to access FlyerTalk full site using a web browser of your choice or using the mobile skin from m.flyertalk.com.

I didn't realize the app was no longer available until I switched to a new phone today. Is there any update on a fix date?

Pretty disappointing to not have an Android app. The mobile site isn't very functional and using the full site on my phone is much harder on my eyes, to the extent I likely won't go to this site while on my phone anymore.

It's in the works; sorry for the inconvenience. Admin and staff are mostly taking a well deserved holiday. I'm sure they'll announce the debut of the new Android app.

I use my LG (Android) with FT all the time, though I certainly prefer my iPad.

Glad that works well for you. I have difficulty with the regular site on my phone due to my body's lack of neurological cooperation, not for lack of trying on my part.

Thanks for the response, hopefully we hear from IB before too long.

A search on the Play Store is offering an app called "Flytalk" which states clearly that it is not affiliated with the Flyertalk website, but appears to be intended to give access (albeit without the ability to sign in).

So far it only has 100 downloads ! Has anyone tried it ?

There is no plan for an Android app. The new mobile interface is still in production at this time.

Why not? And what happened over the past few months to go from "it's being worked on" to now "no plans"?

I don't suppose there is a reliable ETA for the "new mobile interface".

MilePoint has very nice apps for both kinds of devices.

Frankly, site-specific apps are a dying technology. What we are and have been working on is a *mobile skin* that you'll be automatically sent to when you log in from a mobile device, whether it be iphone, android, tablet, etc.

Nor mine.

If they can actually pull off a legit mobile version then it would be fine.

So what's wrong with supporting Tapatalk? I use it for most of my forums that I partake in. It makes worlds of a difference in terms of how I often I partake in those particular forums. Would be a real benefit to this forum Imho.
