Note: if FlyerTalk / vB Advanced Search is not working for you, here's a decent way to use Google Advanced Search to search FT (the form is already set up for Flyertalk):
http://www.google.com/advanced_searc...=en&lr=&num=20
http://www.google.com/advanced_searc...=en&lr=&num=20
Search results - not sorted by date/relevance, index issues

I've not had that problem, and as part of my moderating duties I must search a lot - sometimes to merge or delete threads, and then search again to see what come sup.
I'd recommend low tech solutions - clear your cache, to start with. Occam's razor has always had a lot of appeal to me. Good luck!

I've used it several times every day, and haven;t had any trouble other than when I searched and got distracted by something else and blew the search time out.
Glad it's working for you now. ^

I think it's broken again for the last 1.5 hours or so.
I made a post 10 minutes ago but when searching using "My Posts" from Quick Links, the latest post shown was from 100 minutes ago. That's too big a gap to ignore.

I verified the indexing is happening correctly, there should not be an issue at this time. Delay should be no longer than 10 minutes.

Any clue what's causing the index delay the day before?
If indexing should have been done with 10-minute intervals, can IB tell us if there's any monitoring measure when it fails to function properly? Does IB have any proactive measure at present time?
