FT iOS app 1.4 discussion and feedback
NOTE: The app is not supported nor available through the App Store. The app will no longer work at all since the 28 March 2016 revisions to FlyerTalk.
FT iOS app (v. 1.4 is the most recent) is not currently available, nor is it supported. See IBobi's post, duplicated here:
It's not fixable. It's a core software functionality and can't be addressed at this time. We know what's causing it, and it would require a huge development effort for something that is essentially a minor, periodic annoyance. We'd much rather spend that time developing the new site features we're working on instead.
As to the App crashes, we are no longer supporting the app in its current form and have recommended using the full site on a mobile browser such as Safari or Chrome for the time being.

The iPhone app is still working, but it seems to have been pulled from the App Store.

The app is like a BA 747. We're used to it and and most of it works, but it's just getting crappier every day and lots of bits are broken.

Wow. I had high hopes for the app since I got my new iphone today. Looks like nothing has changed and there is still a giant gap on all the messages with quotes.... I haven't used the app on my ipad at all since the last update (1-2yrs ago?) and now I see that the apps aren't even supported anymore! Seriously guys, you generate enough revenue from ads on this site to build a decent app.

I had been getting an error message using the flyertalk app on my 5s but have updated to the latest ios and the app appears to function again.
