FlyerTalk "Evangelist" or "Posting Legend"
FlyerTalk members with 10,000 counted posts receive the title, displayed in the post information box to the left of each post, of "FlyerTalk Evangelist". The designation will generally appear automatically.
"FlyerTalk Posting Legends" are those who have made 40,000 counted posts on FlyerTalk. A listing can be seen here.
(There are no special emoluments, perquisites of privileges that accompany these titles.)
However, Forum Ambassadors, Moderators and others whose titles are entered manually by the Community Director or Admin will not show the "FlyerTalk Evangelist"or "FlyerTalk Posting Legend" title automatically.
If you have qualified for a title listed here by meeting the post criterion, have a manually entered title and wish to have your "evangelist" title added, please contact the Community Director by PMing SanDiego1K.

The handle change has a specific period of time ad is implemented by the person who granted it (Community Director or Admin) (after which you can request the backward reference be deleted).

You have been allowed to request the removal of "formerly known as.." since Sept 24 2015. The software does not permit it to be set up to be done automatically. We wait for folks to request it as some like to show their split persona.

I can report that the evangelist title appears instantly, when post #10 ,000 is posted. Not even a need to refresh the screen.
