FT - Awful Connectivity Issues

Starting at 12:50am today, I've noticed that FT seems to go down for varied periods of time. I kept getting errors this morning that the page could not be found, until I finally started to get the database error. This continued until well past 2:00am..

Then five minutes ago, nothing on FT would load. I confirmed this with people on other computers, and tried to access FT on multiple devices..

IB, what's going on??

We were performing network maintenance that inadvertently affected Flyertalk. This was neither intended or expected. We're sorry for the inconvenience.

Perhaps a "down for maintenance" splash screen could be put up next time?

When downtime is expected, we put up maintenance pages. As stated above, this wasn't an expected outage.
