how many posts are moderated before one can post freely ?

i posted a reply in the china forum, but it didn't show up

First, welcome to Flyertalk.

Second, the system is set up to moderate SOME posts of new users... certain key words can trigger the rule.... as well as links in early posts. I have a feeling that is what caught your post... your photo in your picture. Too often, we have spammers who try a hit and run, so the rules are in place to provide a better viewing experience for our members.

Usually, posts get approved pretty quickly by the respective forum mods. If you ever find a post you made is not showing, just message that forums' moderator... and they will look into it.
