I must say that I've changed my mind. In the last few years Tapatalk has made a lot of bad decisions (forcing users to repurchase, tracking your external clicks, etc.) regarding their product and I no longer use it.

We're taking mobile initiatives very seriously, and welcome all your feedback. While we can't implement any form of Tapatalk, we are looking forward to implementing even better functionality than a simple forum reader.

Is there a mobile version of the board for Android?

Thank you, Paul.

Hi there Neo,

The mobile solutions are:

1. Use the mobile skin (your device should default to it)
2. Use the full site on your mobile browser of choice

There's no supported app at this time, but perhaps down the line there will be.

Best,

Paul

FT Mobile App

Long time Android user, recently switched to a Note 5. Having trouble using the FT app because this phone doesn't have a proper "Menu" button like my Galaxy S3 or Sony Xperia Z3 do.

How can I access the "Forum" tab on the app? Any way around it?

Much prefer the app simple (outdated) interface over the mobile browser version.

I've moved the request for Tapatalk posted 21 Mar 2017 and subsequent posts to The Suggestion Box forum.

I can say unequivocally, FlyerTalk will not be using TapaTalk. I can say fairly unequivocally that this is not ever going to change.

If not Tapatalk then in that case any other form of mobile forum app, or is it going to be a case relying on a mobile browser?

No plans I am aware of at this time to do anything other than make the mobile skin the best it can be. Hopefully that will turn out to be very good!

Any updates? The infinite scrolling thing pretty much broke browsing and replying from iOS! Replying in this box causes the text to be cut off for some reason.

The infinite scroll is awful but can luckily be turned off:
  1. MyFlyerTalk
  2. Edit Options
  3. Check DISABLE INFINITE SCROLL
  4. SAVE

More info here (along with plenty of negative comments about this "enhancement" before the thread was locked).
