Popped up for me again. Was logged in. Definitely deterring me from visiting the site now (long time member here).

Is it persistently showing up now, over & over, or did it just show up once after being absent for a while?

And showing up again this evening. It's almost like clockwork. The weekend comes, the box returns.

Questions about the surveys

1. What advertisers' banners are on the page at the time the survey appears?

2. What is the survey asking about when you click it?

3. Of course, a screen shot of the survey and/or the whole page would be useful.

In order to block unwanted ads, the more info we have about what is appearing, the better we can trim the bad surveys. Thank you all for the reports!

I find this ad incredibly annoying. It is showing up on every page I load this morning. Here is a screen shot:

Like others, this is deterring me from visiting this site.

Once you log in, it will go away.

While this may be true, I don't like to take the time to log on every time I visit the site. That would be almost as much of a deterrent as the ad itself!

I hardly ever have to log in. Do you have your own computer? Just click
"remember me" the next time you log in.

A totally annoying ad like this “opinion survey” should not be allowed on FT, either logged in or not.

An speaking of annoying ads, how about eliminating or limiting the ads with moving graphics, sometimes I get 2 or 3 on a page and they are very distracting when trying to read the text in the threads.

I realize that ads pay the bills for a free site like FT, but at least you can impose some limits on the amount of moving graphics that appear at one time.

This started popping up again last night. And it pops up when I'm logged in.

To be sure it does not continue to pop up, be sure to set your browser to not clear cookies each time you leave the site.

How do you do that on an iPad? I know how to do it on IE but it's also occurring on my Ipad.

Popover ad

I was jus browsing FT on iOS in Safari and had an ad pop up over the page, blocking forum titles. Pretty horrible.

Obviously, our opinion doesn't matter, since FlyerTalk continues to do business with this advertiser.
