Which bloggers do you follow now vs then?

I started in this hobby in summer 2012. When I started, I followed:
FrequentMiler
MMS
Mommypoints
Dealswelike

Now, I have the milesfeed app so the posts of many bloggers show up, but the ones I consistently follow are:
FrequentMiler
Dansdeals
OMAAT (I know, I know...)
View from the Wing
Frugal Travel Guy
Loyalty Lobby
TravelBloggerBuzz
The Points Guy (once in a while, he'll have a quality post)
Doctor of Credit (not on milesfeed, but one of the best out there)

Travel is Free. Drew, the owner, is IMHO the best multi purpose travel blogger, He knows it all. Points, Miles, airlines, hotels routings and destinations. His writing is wonderful and he and his wife Carrie come across as two very nice, smart and unpretentious people.

Agreed...i've only just started to read Travel is Free here and there. But I completely agree with your description. Ironically, his travel style is not at all akin to my own but I like the topics he writes about and how in depth he goes into specific programs. Also refreshing to read about programs outside of AA/Hyatt/SPG.

Loyalty Lobby (rarely) for the odd program news.

None of the other CC pimps. Looking at their sites once or twice convinced me of their uselessness for my travel needs. How many I-Phone pictures of C/F lounges, C/F seats, C/F food that I already know do I need to look at?

None, really, and all that stuff can be found on FT, anyway.

I used to read TPG and almost all of Boarding Area when I started the hobby 3 years ago. Also read Million Mile Secrets.

Now I read none of them. FT is my only method of getting that type of news anymore.

Threads like this illustrate the value of this forum on FT. We owe a debt to kokomutz, I mean kokonutz, for promoting its creation.

Whole heartedly agree. If it was not for kokoputz, I mean kokonutz, where else would the whiners have to congregate and exhibit their jealousy and envy. The truly interesting thing is how drastically the participation in this forum has diminished over the last year or so. It appears that the majority of FT readers have accepted that some of the blogs are now primarily commercial ventures aimed at the newbie market and the FT readers have quit whining about it.

But there are still one or two whiners per day to keep things alive. Look at the posters. You all know who you are.

PS: I still scan them all, commercial and the hobbyist blogs. Never know where the next deal will come from.

Thank you for being the eighth or ninth most active poster in this forum. Without posters like you this forum could not exist! ^

Thanks Oliver

For correcting more misinformation by kokoputz, I mean kokonutz. I never realized that Ambassadors and Talkboard members could alter quotes of members? That seems a bit much don't you think?

And the confirmation of the whiners list is much appreciated. Results as expected.
