Everything else forum / Lounge?
Why doesn't FT has a forum for general discussion unrelated to travel? Just a place to discuss humor / politics / interesting stuff? Where to go to discuss this? I am currently forced to visit non-FT forums to satisfy my non travel forum needs :/

FT does have such a forum. It's called OMNI However, it has entry requirements of 180 posts/180 days on FT before someone can access it. Post-padding is not allowed to gain entry. Once someone hits both entry requirements the forum will be available. Until then I don't think FTers see it.

There's a sub forum of OMNI, called OMNI/PR (which I believe stands for politics and religion) where more argumentative general material appears, especially stuff expressing political viewpoints or potentially controversial ethical stances. Sometimes this is referred to as "bad OMNI" versus the main OMNI forum, which is called "good OMNI" for emphasis.
