Sharon:

Hollywood or something big is going to call your name shortly. Thank you for all you have contributed and best of luck in all your future endeavors. BTW I hear London is lovely in January.

Can you give us a hint?

TLS (the lovely Sharon). I've known you a long time. We've shared many a meal in NY and LA. As I friend, I say thank you, and wish you the best. As a Flyertalker, I say thank you for your passion here on Flyertalk. We heard you loud and clear. I can only hope that the incoming TB President gets it the same way you do. Well, you know what I mean. ^

If only there was an annual event, maybe in the summer, where people could learn more about the borough that's just to the east of Manhattan

Four years! That's notable, Sharon. Thank you, and glad we'll still benefit from your presence on FlyerTalk.

We'll see how Bergen Beach does...

With some other Talk Board members not participating here, good luck trying to sort out where they might stand on any issue until the voting results are in - they've done all they're required to do. You carried the weight of others that don't participate here when you could have just as easily stayed on the sidelines yourself and used your time for other pursuits. That needs to be recognized.

Thank you for your service and very visible participation on the threads in the Talk Board forum. I, for one, enjoy interfacing with Talk Board members on the Talk Board forum. You set an example that other members should follow.

Sharon:

FlyerTalk is fortunate that you were willing to apply your passion and skills to the TalkBoard and promote initiatives that were for our benefit. Mahalo for all that you did and enjoy some well-deserved time out of the line of fire.

Aloha!

Farewell, Thanks & I'll Still Be Around...

I've always enjoyed reading your fair and balanced comments and wish you well. Genuine people in the world are hard to come by especially online. It is a shame to hear some members don't contribute (they know who they are) and personally I think they should step aside as a couple of others have done in recent years when time doesn't permit.
