Motion Passed: Create a Chase Ultimate Rewards Forum

Moved by nsx and seconded by SkiAdcock:

"The TalkBoard recommends to the Community Director the creation of an Chase Ultimate Rewards forum in the Credit Card Programs/Partners category."

This poll will close on March 27, 2013 at 4:27 pm or after all TalkBoard members have registered their vote, whichever comes first.

Per the TalkBoard Guidelines:

A motion shall pass if at least two-thirds of the yes or no votes cast by TalkBoard members are ‘yes’ and a majority of the total TalkBoard membership votes 'yes.'

The purpose of posting voting topics in the public TalkBoard Topics forum is to solicit member feedback on any motions that are up for a vote and to allow for comments after a vote is made. It is at the sole discretion of the individual TalkBoard members whether they choose to post in the public discussion thread, there being no requirement to do so.

So while there is already a thread and discussion on this general topic and it is safe to assume that TalkBoard members have reviewed that thread, this thread is about this specific motion.

Please feel free to post questions, comments or any other sort of feedback in this thread, or in the other discussion thread http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/talkb...-ur-forum.html

Yes to Chase UR forum.

I recently got a CSP Visa & Ink Bold. Wife has CSP MC and previously CSP MC. She will apply for Ink in a short time. Lots of flexibility in UR!

As one of the mods of the Credit Card Programs forum I have no big objection to another forum (under Credit Cards Programs/Partners) addressing ALL the Chase cards that earn Ultimate Reward points. I guess I'd say I'm lukewarm on the idea.

Absolutely, there is a great need now to separate them out.

I vote strong no. No reason to hand information to Chase on a silver platter.

I say YES to chase forum. Chase UR is a great rewards program and it deserves one. Maybe we should get rid of Diners!

Definitely yes. There seems to be enough discussion and various cards that it would be helpful to have all the information in one place. And then everyone else who isn't interested doesn't have to deal with it cluttering the Credit Card Programs forum.

Yes, it would be nice to have all the Chase credit card info in one place.
