What a nice turkey day morning surprise; I hadn't expected to learn the election results until after the holiday weekend. Thank you SanDiego1K for announcing this during the holiday.
Congrats to SkiAdcock, Cholula, and HansGolden. I'm looking forword to working with you and the returning five TalkBoard members. I'm amazed and impressed by the commitment and backgrounds of people on the ballot, although I guess I shouldn't be surprised given the interesting people we have on FT.
Happy Thanksgiving!

And I am truly looking forward to serving with HansGolden and MSPeconomist!
Welcome back to the Talkboard, Cholula. Congrats to SkiAdcock on her reelection and to HansGolden and MSPeconomist. This is an outstanding group of TB members.

Get used to it. SanDiego1K is incredibly prompt with everything. When the TalkBoard approves a forum proposal, SanDiego1K typically has the new forum running within minutes. How she does this I do not know.
Congratulations to you and HansGolden, and to our very deserving re-elected members SkiAdcock and Cholula!

Congratulations to all who stepped forward in the TB election and the successful candidates and a nod of appreciation to bhatnasx and Spiff for their time given to TB.

I know from my general FT experience, and also from one or two recent communications with SanDiego1K, that she is incredibly diligent and efficient about such things. However, I had been led to believe, from the email to all candidates and the posted information about election timing, that we would be waiting through the turkey holiday weekend before the results would be validated and announced. I'm pleased that the results were posted this morning, certainly above and beyond the announced timeline.
The bottom line is that I'm impressed but not surprised.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Lots of to CD for quick publishing.
Bit sad for the low participation though. How many voted in total?
