Let me also ask; is Suggestions forum only a buzz forum, or would anyone, like TB/Mods feel responsible to sort out viable suggestions to suggest at the right level?
As a former TB member, I will happily pass on having this title under my name. For that matter, I would also prefer if we got rid of "Evangelist", "Legend", and all other titles -- the only exceptions being TB members and moderators when they are posting in their official capacities.
Just because someone is/was on TB doesn't mean that he knows diddly about which hotels in Paris are easiest to reach from CDG and being a moderator in no way indicates that the person is more familiar with the SkyMiles program than is the newest poster on FT.

That was not at all my point.
I have lately read quite some on the TB topics forum (which I have to admit is for the very interested...). On those discussions it would help identify former TBers.
Also its easier for the general FTer to approach former TBers forumwide, to get help on anything from forum creations to running for TB etc. Things that one might not at first post a thread or public reply on, but feel more confident on by exchanging PMs.

What you are looking for is our (Pilot) Flyertalk Ambassadors:
There are currently quite a few Flyertalk Ambassadors that can do exactly what you have in mind. As a matter of fact, I think Flyertalk Ambassadors are in a much better position than TBers to take on the tasks you had described.
For those who ever pay attention to TB Topics Forum, they already know who TBers, candidates or not, are/were. IMHO, it's so unnecessary to add TB terms to TBers so FTers can approach them with questions about Talkboard.
