A bit of clarification needed here I got a seat in C on LX old shabby A330-200 with current seatmap of quite strange. What has happened to r7 middle seats? there seem like some other seats have dissappeared too.. are they just broken or what? It seems like r7 is always showing "-" on other days too, does that mean only SEN can book it, is it good row`? It kind of seems similar to a330 3-class layout more than the 2-class one.
Any suggestions, to which seat I should aim at?

Instead of starting a new thread I thought I would post my question here....I had a really unusuall(have not encountered this before) experience earlier while asking for a seat assigment on LX14 F class (award ticket)...I was assigned 2K but with a warning that if a "higher tier" costumer requests this seat it will be taken away from me......now I have done numerous award bookings and this was the first time to hear something like this from an agent...up to this date I have never had a seat reassigned in either F or C class on award bookings,,,is this common for LX to do?
Honestly on the A332's I do not recomend the first Rows behind the bulkhead meaning Rows 7 and 11 on the 2 Class configuration and Row 8 on the 3 Class configured planes as the Seat Pitch is less compared to the other rows.

LHR ZRH in C, ZRH JNB in F, August 25th 2010
Dear All
We are booked in C to ZRH from LHR (LX325) and when I called Swiss today for seat allocations, the lady could only do row "99", which she said was near the front and a c and d seat, even though Expertflyer showed nearly all seats unallocated. The flight is in August 2010. Now I notice on EF following the conversation wth her that seat 1C and 1D are taken, I presume these are ours, but can't verify on CMT. Could anyone advise on the best course of action please to verify and choose seats?
Additionally, we are on the 340 to JNB same day in August 2010 in F (LX288). The same lady agreed to my request of 2D and 2G, but again, I can't see it on CMT so have no proof of the seating request. I have looked on the booking part of Swiss.com, but it does not show seats. Is the 340 the "new" First please?
We have not travelled Swiss before and fingers crossed that it will be the new F, as I have heard it is fantastic.
I believe the A340s are not being upgraded to the new F, just the new C, for the moment at least. Something about the location of the galley getting in the way. We'll know for sure when the first one comes out of D check next month.
I agree regarding checking seat alocations online - I haven't found a way to do this either. I've just called Swiss once or twice and asked them to confirm it for me verbally.

"Row 99" is row 1. I had a MUC-ZRH-ATH flight at the end of October, which I booked in February. It seems that if you make a seat reservation long enough ahead, they do have those strange seat numbers in their reservation system. My "97AC" turned out to be 3 AC.
