LH Lounge for LX in EWR

It seems with the introduction of the A340 LX switched airport sides and is now using the LH infrastructure.

This also means no more horrible Delta lounge, but the LH SEN and business lounge instead.

Was never really impressed wih the LH/SK lounge in EWR - it's usually extremly crowded and the offerings are so so.... while a step-up fromthe DL loung I would say only a marginal one

i have to agree that the lounge situation is pretty bad in EWR....it is crowded already as it is but cant imagine what will happen w the larger LX aircraft introduction..
SK lounge is a breath of fresh air compare to LH SEN lounge

New EWR lounge soon

There will be a new lounge in EWR from LH by end of the year (probably on the opposite site, where the BA lounge now is), I was told by LH lounge staff some weeks ago.

Great news. The current lounge is a disgrace considering the number of flights of the LH Group in EWR.

are you in for a surprise! no there is no dedicated lounge, you will be directed to the LH SEN lounge (a dungeon) which you will see it is awful, just move yourself over to the SAS lounge that is opposite the SEN lounge..both are post security...

if accepted you will be escorted from the lounge to pre-board

As the new LX flight is leaving from EWR at 10PM I don't think the SK lounge will be that crowded anymore. Most other Star Alliance flights leave earlier (except LO to WAW and SQ to SIN). The situation around 4-5PM with several flights from LH and SK is of course a different story!

LH is indeed investing into EWR, don't know where exactly the new area will be though. SQ & LO used to use another contract lounge landside, but now also funnel their pax into the SAS lounge...
