Mar 20, 2022Being a newbie to this mileage collector hobby of mine, I would like a list of the airline codes (ex. UA-United, CO-continental, etc) cuz I read postings and see mileage runs or posts about certain airlines, but dont know which ones they are...Id like a lil post up I can print out in nice and color and hang up on my board in front of my monitor...
Also the various seatings codes would be nice too....economy, first, business, NR, NC, etc....
does that make sense?

Just an FYI but we have recently posted a glossary of Travel Safety/Security terms in this thread.

Am I SOL at this point and need to find alternative routes? I can choose CAI-LHR-ATH or CAI-MAD-ATH but both of these involve a lot of travel time and the CAI-LHR-ATH will also incur additional taxes...

SOL loosely translates to "Caca Outta Luck", excuse my Spanish.

Just to let you know, a lot (most) of these terms are NOT specific to FlyerTalk. "SOL," for example, is well-known and has NOTHING to do specifically with FT.
