It is NOT the same promo. This one ended January last year and the redemption period is until end of March this year. Just booked Parker Palm Springs for tonight using the free nights from the LM promo.

SD1K had it right. I had booked my stay at the LM in London, but ended up canceling the trip. So this seemed my last chance to use it.

Oh, and I didn't mention that I was offered the usual Plat amenity card and took the points.

From 5.30pm to 7.30pm, creative hour served in all-you-can-drink style and select your drinks whatever you want, as same as the bar beverage menu, included alcohol drinks. (But I did not order the whole bottle wine or spirit to test )

Suite's bathroom amenities is Hermes, and 4 to 6 bottles of evian water refreshed daily just great enough. In addition, in-room espresso cafe machine is also placed in your suite.

The only one is it needs 10 milutes walk from hotel to BTS station, but both of my stay experience in SGS and Le Meridien BKK, I will vote LM for the further stay.

What a fantastic and detailed review. I wish I could take pictures as well as you do. Great job. Looks like this property is taking the SGS approach to its treatment of plats etc. The champagne must have been for the Thai New Year. It does not look very busy in the pictures but in BKK it can be slow during that time as most Thai people leave BKK during the holiday.

Yes, the director of sales and marketing, Jee Hoong Tan and Navrat Gulati always trying to do anything they could and very helpful to taking care everything you need in advance. The concierge desk staff works great as well. ^^^^^ The service attitude even better than Peninsula and Oriental Bangkok, according to my personal experiences.

Regarding the check-in service, it's the first time in SPG properties I escorted by receptionist and bellboy to accompany to process check-in in the guest suite. It only happened to me when stay in like Peninsula and Four Seasons with a frequent guests profile records before.

I added the airport limousine price in above reviews as well.

Does anybody know why LMBkk uses the name "Avantec?" I googled the term and it appears to be the name of various corporate entities. Just sounds kind of weird to be calling your best suites after companies.

This is NOT subject to availability. It is a standard SPG PLT perk. I would call them BS on that.
