Point for pre-paid stay booked theough Westin Vactions?
Last summer GF got a letter from Westin vacations offering 5 nights at the Westin Aruba for $650 pre-paid. They also offered a $100 resort credit or 8,000 Starpoints. We jumped at the offer and paid the $650 on a booking for early February (a great deal since the property usually goes for $450+ a night this time of year). They sent us a confirmation letter on "Starwood Vacation Ownership" letterhead.
Basic question: Will she earn *points and nights credit for the $650 if she gives them her SPG number at check-in? I ran a search on FT but didn't find anything specific to pre-paid stays booked through Westin.

Is there any way to get a referral for one of these promo's for Hawaii? Or are those deals over? Thanks for any info!
