SPG Airline transfers - Names on Accounts

SPG Airline transfers - Names on Accounts
I searched the forum and could not find a specific thread on exact details
There is a thread on the time it takes, but no post that summarizes at the top
AFAIK, SPG allows transfers to airlines with 5k Bonus for every 20k
Exceptions are UA SQ, NZ etc etc
What is not clear is if the transfer has to be to the same name.
I have had transfers to AA rejected for a single misspelling in the first name
Transfers to US have gone through with no trouble to any family member.
What I am looking for is info and data points on transfers to airlines to anyone besides the SPG account owner.
If anyone has details on a thread dealing with this, please merge this one.
If not post below and I will try to update the thread as we get info.

I know the airlines that allow any names, but not all at this time.
I think a comprehensive accurate list is useful for all as a FAQ.
