Status match, Platinum service, etc

Status match, Platinum service, etc

New to Starwood. Faxed and then emailed mentioning fax , asking a few questions, and indicated I would use Starwood for my stays later in the week if status match completed.

Received a telephone call from Platinum serviced about 2 hours after sending fax & email. Within a few minutes, Platinum status added, airline promo link removed, and the Platinum Service Representative proactively asked if I was aware of certain features of the program (a quick orientation / intro to the program).

That's Platinum service!

Platinum Service Center + StarwoodLurker(William, the Starwood employee who reviews the posts here) = omnipresent, omni-helpful, and just plain omni!

I booked the hotels, in one at this moment, and looking forward to the next one tomorrow night.
