Terms and Conditions
Eligible member must register between January 30, 2017, and April 15, 2017, 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Registration Period”). Member can earn 3,000 bonus Starpoints® after the third (3rd) eligible paid stay, 3,000 bonus Starpoints after the sixth (6th) eligible paid stay, and 3,000 bonus Starpoints after the ninth (9th) eligible paid stay. As part of this promotion, member may earn a maximum of 9,000 total bonus Starpoints for nine eligible stays from February 15, 2017, through May 15, 2017 (the "Promotion Period"). This promotion is not transferable. Bookings made prior to the Promotion Period are eligible, but only eligible stays consumed during the Promotion Period will earn a bonus.
An eligible stay is a stay with at least one (1) eligible paid night at any of the over 1,300 hotels and resorts in the SPG® program, paying an eligible paid rate during the Promotion Period. An eligible rate is any rate that is eligible to earn Starpoints in the Starwood Preferred Guest® program. Free Night Awards and Cash & Points Award nights are not eligible toward promotional Starpoints earnings. Hotels and resorts in the SPG program can be found at spg.com/terms under section 1.2. A description of eligible stays and eligible rates can be found at spg.com/terms under section 2.1. Please note that certain prepaid rooms where the booking is made through a third party (including but not limited to travelocity.com, expedia.com and booking.com) are not eligible rates and do not earn Starpoints or qualify toward promotional earnings.
Bonus Starpoints will be credited to the member's account within 2–4 weeks of the stay posting to the member's Starwood Preferred Guest account following each third eligible stay.
A "Stay" is a stay of one or more consecutive nights at the same SPG Participating Hotel by an SPG Member who: (A) provides his/her SPG Member number at the time of reservation or at check-in; (B) pays an Eligible Rate or redeems an SPG Award or an SPG Promotion Reward for the stay; and (C) stays in one of the reserved guest rooms. If an SPG Member checks out of a guest room and then checks back in to a guest room at the same SPG Participating Hotel on the same day, it will count as a single stay for purposes of calculating Stays. An SPG Member may only earn Starpoints, Eligible Nights and Eligible Stays for up to three guest rooms during any Stay if he/she stays in one of the reserved guest rooms and pays an Eligible Rate or redeems an SPG Award or an SPG Promotion Reward for all of the guest rooms.
This promotion is nontransferable and void for Marriott International, Inc., employees. This promotion may be combined with other Starpoints promotions in market during the same time; however, earnings are exclusive of each other.

I have the double stays and nights promotion, but having already had a couple of stays since the 14th nothing has come through yet. Looks like there might be a bit of a delay.

Double Take for me: earn double points on my first 3 stays between now and April 15. I can also get a 10k bonus with 20 nights and an extra 500 points/night starting with my 4th stay.
I will have three 3 night stays in mid-March and another 3 night stay that ends on April 15.
I got Platinum on a status challenge last year. I plan to prioritize maintaining SPG over Hilton this year in a slower travel year (at least I hope it is). I'll have a great start to the year but slow middle, so we'll see. I would have loved the extra elite qualifying offer for that reason. Oh well.
I will have three 3 night stays in mid-March and another 3 night stay that ends on April 15.

Has anyone got a Stay 3 times to earn a free night?
I got this offer emailed to me 2 weeks ago. It requires registration by April 15. Since any natural stay I would have is in May and beyond, I try to delay the registration as close to deadline as possible. The email itself does not say anything about the conditions and the end date of the offer.
I do not get the double point offer email.

Here's what I was offered:
"You’re now registered to earn double elite-qualifying credit. It’s simple: You’ll earn double elite-qualifying credit on all your stays between February 15 and May 15, 2017 — with no earning limits. For example, if you have five eligible stays and 10 eligible nights during the promotion, SPG® will credit you 10 stays and 20 nights toward elite status."

But please take note (at least for my offer) that you only accumulate the double stays/nights AFTER registration, even if it is within the qualification period of 15 Feb to 15 May 17.
Example:
1. Feb 15 2017 - Promo period commences

3. Feb 22 2017 - Stay 1 night
Result: Double stay/nights ONLY for the stay on Feb 22 17.

Has anyone seen the points from this promo post as yet? Just curious. I'm still within my stay parameters more or less but close to hitting 4 weeks since my first threshold (3,000 points after 3rd stay).

Just something to bear in mind with these and all other promotions that may have been affected by having stays removed and re-posted...when a stay is re-posted, it does not retain the original posting date. It would change to the date in which the re-posting took place, so a bit more patience might be required.
Regardless, since all of this re-posting was completed on March 6th, I think we would be safe to start following up on any promotional bonus points on April 3rd for those bookings that were affected.

My offer was 2k, 2.5k, & 3k points for each stay, max 7.5 k points. Currently working on another promotion of double points for 1st 3 stays, then 5k points after 10 nights (already completed 6 of 10 nights). Can one stack the 2 promotions? I might wait until I have the 5k, then go for the new promotion. Suggestions?

Targetted promos suck and are the WORST part of the SPG program... IMHO but then again that will soon end and I doubt the grass eill be greener on the other side!
I have NOT been targetted for a single promo since I becase platinum, so this year I have ONE stay eith SPG YTD, the winner has been Hilton
