I don't think hotels should be allowed to go rogue and make up their own rules.
That being said, I would probably just book the rate and then submit it to Research for crediting. That would teach them!

I wouldn't. I would contact CCS first. This way a person can make an informed decision.

I have seen SPG ineligible rates on some local hotel websites but this is a first for SPG.com. Hope it is just a glitch.
