Never got the star points for CET stays

Tried asking the Champion, but was not helpful... Anyone know who is best to contact? I also do not get the 1% on SPG stays

What are "CET" stays? Do you mean "SET" corporate stay?

Have you contacted research? In the SPG Forum FAQ thread there is a list of Starwood contacts. Check that thread for more information.

Think you'll need to furnish us with a few more details on this one : what does CET refer to and what 1% of what were you expecting ?

Also, having been in contact with the Champion team, if you could summarise why your expectations are different from their explanation then that would be helpful too.

You need to contact Total Rewards to get it sorted out. They were responsive for me.

See this FAQ.

I have had the exact same problem. I chose the Flamingo over some other options in order to get SPG stay credit. This was a few month ago and no luck in getting anyone to help from either company. I believe they are incorrect based on the advertising:

Dear Mr. XXXXX,

Thank you for your prompt reply.

In order to get the crossover points towards your SPG account for Caesars stays you must be Seven Star, Diamond or Platinum status with Total Rewards and Gold level with SPG which is why nothing to date has posted to your guest account.

Please let me know if you have any further questions and I will be happy to assist you.

Best Regards,

I found this on the site which never mentions having to have a high Caesars status: “Registered SPG members earn 2 Starpoints® for every eligible $1 charged to their hotel folio at Caesars Entertainment hotels (in addition to Reward Credits earned through Total Rewards, Caesars Entertainment’s award-winning loyalty program).”

Was it a comped room? It would help if you provided as much info as possible up front instead of having everyone play 20 questions

https://www.totalrewards.com/content...erred/FAQ.html

What spend is "qualified hospitality spend" on which I will earn Starpoints during eligible stays at Caesars Participating Hotels?

"Qualified hospitality spend" is any spend that is charged to your room while staying at Caesars Participating Hotels and is not paid for with comps upon checkout.

What stays are "eligible stays" during which I will earn Starpoints at Caesars Participating Hotels?

Eligible Stays are hotel stays on any hotel published room rate other than an Ineligible Rate, including but not limited to CAESARS or CAESARS Member Brand hotel website rates, best available unrestricted rates, etc.
"Ineligible Rates" include, but are not limited to:
[...]
d. Any complimentary, free or barter night stays, or any stays in connection with gift certificates or other awards or vouchers;
[...]

In my case it was a paid stay. I do not have anything but the basic total reward status, SPG platinum. Their response indicates I shouldn't get any credit with SPG for staying at a Caesars property, but that is not how they advertise.

I agree your situation doesn't make sense; I wonder if the SPG person that was replying to you got confused with Delta crossover, which does require SPG Gold or higher.

But I would echo SpeedyDelivery's suggestion of contacting TR, not SPG, to try to resolve this. From the FAQ: "If you are registered for Total Rewards-SPG Member Benefits and meet the eligible criteria to earn Starpoints for your eligible stay at a Caesars Participating Hotel and at least 4 to 6 weeks have passed since your eligible stay at a Caesars Participating Hotel was completed, contact the Total Rewards Customer Support if you are missing Starpoints for an eligible stay at a Caesars Participating Hotel." (There's a link)

If you missing SPG Starpoints or elite qualifying nights for staying at participating Caesars properties, you would need to contact Caesars Total Rewards and have them look into this.

If you are missing Reward/Tier Credits for stays at SPG properties, send an email to [email protected] and ask them to look into it.

I've reached out to both. SPG replied with the incorrect quote I pasted earlier. Caesars didn't have a clue what I was talking about on the phone, but I've just emailed them so maybe I'll have better luck there, will see...

Caesars Total Rewards...as indicated in the FAQ.

I found this in the FAQ as well, which should explain why this is:

"If you are registered for SPG-Total Rewards Member Benefits, in addition to earning Reward Credits for stays at Caesars Participating Hotels, you will earn two Starpoints for every one U.S. dollar or its foreign equivalent spent on qualifying hospitality spend during stays at Caesars Participating Hotels regardless of status in the SPG Program, up to a maximum of 100,000 Starpoints per calendar year."
