REGISTRATION: SPG® members must register online at spg.com/slslasvegas by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on April 30, 2016. Registered members can earn a bonus for eligible stays between January 28 and April 30, 2016, (the "Promotion Period") at SLS Las Vegas, a Tribute Portfolio Resort.

EARNING POSSIBILITIES:
500 BONUS STARPOINTS PER STAY: Registered members may earn 500 bonus Starpoints on eligible stays of one or more consecutive nights. A maximum of 1,500 bonus Starpoints can be earned during the Promotion Period for this offer. Offer is eligible with other Starpoints promotions; however, each offer will award bonus Starpoints independently of each other, and offers are not combinable. Bonus Starpoints will post to the registered member’s account within two to four weeks after the qualifying stay posts.

1,000 BONUS STARPOINTS PER STAY: Registered members may earn 1,000 bonus Starpoints on eligible stays of one or more consecutive nights. A maximum of 3,000 bonus Starpoints can be earned during the Promotion Period for this offer. Offer is eligible with other Starpoints promotions; however, each offer will award bonus Starpoints independently of each other, and offers are not combinable. Bonus Starpoints will post to the registered member’s account within two to four weeks after the qualifying stay posts.

FREE NIGHT AWARD: Registered members may earn a Free Night Award on eligible stays of one or more consecutive nights. A maximum of one (1) Free Night Award can be earned during the Promotion Period for this offer. Offer is eligible with other Starpoints or free nights promotions; however, each offer will award bonus independently of each other, and offers are not combinable. Free Night Awards earned during the promotion will post within 2-4 weeks of the qualifying bookings being consumed and posting to your account. Free Night Awards can be redeemed for a standard room at any participating Category 1–6 hotel. Free Night Awards must be redeemed for stays between January 29 and July 31, 2016. Members should call SPG customer service and mention Award ID S8SFN to redeem. Awards are not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash or Starpoints. Unused Awards will be forfeited. Free Night Award stay(s) and night(s) will count toward elite-earning qualification. Free Night Award(s) are combinable and may be added to existing paid or Award stays.

TWO UBER RIDES: The two Uber rides are valid for the applicable Preferred Guest Member to have a credit of up to USD$25 (or the foreign equivalent) on two (2) separate completed Uber rides applied to his/her Uber account. Member may earn a maximum of six (6) Uber rides during the promotion period. Uber rides earned during the promotion will be awarded via promotional code sent via email 2-4 weeks following the close of the promotion and can be redeemed with Uber for the Uber rides, at any time until the code expires.

Starwood is not responsible for complaints or issues regarding the redemption of promotional codes (claims that code is invalid, insufficient, etc.) and any such issues should be addressed with Uber.

In order to utilize a promotional code for the two Uber rides (up to $25 each), the Preferred Guest Member must apply the promotional code to his/her Uber account prior to initiating the first of the two applicable Uber rides. The promotional code is only valid for a reduction of up to $25 USD (or the foreign equivalent) on each of two (2) separate Uber rides. Once the promotional code is applied to the applicable Preferred Guest Member’s Uber account, the reduction of up to $25 USD (or the foreign equivalent) per ride will be applied to his/her next two consecutive Uber rides (regardless of the total charge for such rides).

In the event the cost of any ride for which a promotional code for an Uber ride will be applied is less than USD $25 (or the foreign equivalent), any balance remaining for such ride will be forfeited by the applicable Preferred Guest Member and will not be credited into the Preferred Guest Member’s Uber account. The Preferred Guest Member is responsible for any amounts that are due if the cost of the applicable ride exceeds USD $25 (or the foreign equivalent). The promotional code cannot be duplicated or sold and there is no cash value. In the event either Starwood or Uber suspect that the use or redemption of the promotional code was in error, fraudulent, illegal or in violation of these two Uber rides terms and conditions or in violation of the SPG terms and conditions, each of Starwood and Uber reserves its right to withhold the credit or deduct the credit from the applicable Preferred Guest Member’s Uber account. The promotional code may be terminated or modified at any time and without any liability to Starwood or Uber. The promotional code will be used for its intended and lawful purpose and pursuant to these two Uber rides terms and conditions, the SPG terms and conditions and the Uber Terms of Use. The promotional code is void where prohibited by law. Only one promotional code for an Uber discount or credit may be used per Uber ride. In order to redeem the two Uber rides (up to $25 USD or the foreign equivalent each), the Preferred Guest Member must sign-up for the free Uber mobile application (or sign-in to his/her Uber account) and apply the two Uber rides promotional code to his/her Uber account.

ELIGIBLE STAYS: An Eligible Stay is defined as one or more consecutive nights paying an Eligible Rate in the same hotel regardless of the number of check-ins or checkouts which occur and post to the member’s Starwood Preferred Guest® account. An Eligible Rate is any rate that is eligible to earn Starpoints in the Starwood Preferred Guest program. A description of SPG-participating hotels and resorts and of Eligible Stays and Eligible Rates can be found at spg.com under Terms & Conditions of the SPG Program. See Section 1.4 b iii for the complete definition of Eligible Rates. Note that certain room reservations — e.g., when the booking is made through a third party, including but not limited to travelocity.com, expedia.com, orbitz.com and delta.com — are not considered Eligible Rates and do not earn Starpoints or qualify for promotional earnings.

QUALIFICATIONS AND STARWOOD TERMS: All promotions are subject to the Starwood Preferred Guest program terms and conditions, which are subject to change without notice and can be found at spg.com. Offer is applicable to individual members only and not to groups. Not responsible for omissions or typographical errors. Starwood reserves the right to discontinue this offer at any time. Congratulations!
YOUR SPECIAL OFFER IS: EARN ONE FREE NIGHT AWARD WITH YOUR NEXT STAY AT SLS LAS VEGAS.

Does this mean BOGO night free? When I called the guy kept saying I hade to pay with points, 24k points for 2 nights. I'd rather pay cash I think for BOGO.

As noted above, you need to pay for a stay with cash. After the stay posts, you earn a free night.

I also got the free night offer.

So tempting... considering how cheap some midweek stays can be.

Except I was in Vegas a couple of weeks ago before the promo started and probably can't go back just to get a free night certificate with a short validity period.

And as far as I know, no other LV hotel bundles airport transportation into their resort fee.

Surprised that MLife properties are charging for parking. Typically casinos in LV offer acres of free parking to incent gamblers. Does an MLife property with a casino charge hotel guests but offer free parking to gamblers not staying at the hotel?

My usual LV hotel is the Mandarin Oriental which is an absolutely stunning property (with a resort fee, BTW) but it rankles that they only offer valet parking. My solution has been to park for free at the Aria and just walk over to the MO.

I may have to consider giving the SLS a try but it is really hard to tear myself away from the MO. I'm the kind of guy who would rather pay to stay at the MO than take a comp stay at Caesars Palace so I'm worried I'd be disappointed by the SLS in spite of the hype.

My personal experience following up on these has been that if the AMEX FHR associate uses the SET number we give them to book our properties, then the rate is eligible. If they use any other rate, then it is treated as a third-party booking.

Yes, you are good to go, provided the booking is an eligible paid rate.

It is against the terms and conditions of the SPG program to have two accounts, so you need to have the second account created by AMEX merged into the one you had before.

You can do this online or by calling into the nearest SPG Customer Contact Center.

Since the promotional Free Night Award will take up to four weeks to be added to your Earned Awards, it would not be feasible for it to be used in close proximity to the stay that earned it.
