I'm supposed to check on Thursday for three nights. Points stay. I was contacted by a Starwood rep via email saying that my reservation it's ok but I wouldn't be offered any Plat privileges nor would I be earning anything in a form of stay credit. This is fine, I just want to make sure my reservation is still in tact when I get there and knowing what I went through with this hotel while they were still in SPG I am really worried.

Good luck. Please let us know how it goes.

I received the same email from SPG. No response from Hotel.

No idea if they'll honor the terms of the corp rate I booked.

Just came back from my stay at the hotel after it left the program.

No questions at check in. The room provided was Junior Suite as upgraded by the GM to compensate for serious mishandling of my reservation prior to the hotel actually leaving the chain. I was afraid they would downgrade me to a standard room but they held up the booking.

No Stawood benefits were provided but it was expected.

At check out it took a while for the front desk person to read through emails around handling points reservations and he made a copy of my credit card in case they had any issues later. Of course if they do, I will dispute the charges as it was a points reservation and I have all the back up communications to prove it.

Was it a Luxury Collection hotel now, I would have been upset as the property is a solid 3 star but not even close to what a Luxury Collection should be, it is now a part of Eurostars hotels and I think it belongs.

Next time in the area we will just do Quisisano in Capri as it's truly how a luxury hotel should be.

Hope this helps.
