I'm just looking at the 9/10/11 T&C's on my dashboard and it says
"Stays completed from January 1 - December 31 are eligible for the promotion."
Does the completed mean you have to checkout by December 31st ? I have a stay at a brand i have done which begin in 2015 but ends 2nd of January, under this offer would the brand be taken into account or not ?

advice needed - I have stayed at 5 brands so far for this year (W, Sheraton, Westin, 4P and Aloft) and if I want, I can definitely achieve 9 brands by year end. I calculated for myself, and it seems that the incremental costs of staying at additional 4 brands (Element, LC, LM and St Regis) will be around 320 USD, in exchange for 9000 points. I guess this is not a good deal?

Couple of questions...is this an offer you were given when signing on to your SPG Dashboard? How long has it been since the last qualifying brand was credited to your account?

I saw the offer to stay have five brands myself and qualified last month and received my 500 points. But today I signed in when I noticed the new offer and am confused.
The dashboard says I've stayed at 5 brands but the brands below that state is a mix of brands I've already stated at as well as some I've not stayed at. Is it intended to offer me a guide of the brands I've not stayed at?
Edit: Ok, I took another look at the dashboard and I see that the five brands I've stayed at are lighter (whiter) than the others. However, the 2nd one on the top row is blank. I think that box is for the new "design" brand... Don't think I'm going to be able to get nine+ brands this late in 2015. Better luck next year...

9 Brands stay in APAC is nearly impossible (Only 1 element in China, 1 Tribute Portfolio in Hokkaido and it's opening this month only, no Design Hotel in APAC), so me and my friend can only achieve 8 at most.

Yes. If anyone was presented with an SPG Dashboard offer before '9/10/11' appeared and they successfully meet the hurdle for that offer, then they will be bonused appropriately.
