SPG member not receiving email referral

SPG member not receiving email referral

My wife recently got the new SPG card and sent out referrals to two people. A friend got her email w/in 8 hours but I never got mine (been waiting two days now). I saw a list of reasons why a recipient wouldn't receive the email but none of them applied to me. So early this morning I changed my SPG acct. email to my secondary email acct. and then asked my wife to send another referral. Nada. Zilch.

Suggestions?

Is she sending the referral whilst logged into her Amex account?

The email should arrive within ten minutes.

Yes. This is the link I received from SPG CS employee: https://www262.americanexpress.com/b...af/200098-OPEN

She logged in with her card #, etc, and sent the referrals. The first batch contained mine and a friend's. The friend got her's pretty quickly.

Try again. I had this problem as well and tried it a couple of times and eventually it worked. Also, if you haven't, check you spam folder.

Tried again this AM and still not working. Would it help to call Amex or SPG to do this manually? Frustrating.

The referral end is managed by AMEX, so it would be best to contact them.

Now I am in the same boat. Sent a referral two days ago and it still hasn't shown up. Just tried again and sent one to myself as well to see how long it takes.

This happened to me before but I never had to try more than twice.

The very first one my wife sent 2 days ago went through fine. The ones we sent, and resent, the last day and a half are NOT showing up. I just sent a tweet to amex to get help.

SPG referral email took 4 days to arrive...

Looks like it's an AMEX issue but not positive. We've been tweeting back and forth with @AskAmex and they can't figure it out. VERY SAD.

The test one I sent to myself showed up in about 8 hours. The other sent to someone else still hasn't shown up. ( Both are hotmail accounts.) I will just forward the link that I actually got and that should work.
