I presume this offer covers the Al Maha resort in Dubai ?

Couple of questions:

1) If I redeemed 3 consecutive weekend nights could I add one more and get the 5th night free as would be normal if I booked 4 free nights ?

2) At resorts (Cat 7) etc, some have villas available as the lowest category of room so assume that is what you'd get. Is there a limit on the number of adults who can stay in the room under this offer (ie if the Villa can handle 4 people then you can book a free weekend night for the villa and 4 people can stay in it)

#1 sorry, nope you need to redeem an award for 5 nights and SPG wont charge for the 5th. Even with 4 certs youd be redeeming for 4 1 night stays and not 1 5 night stay , so 4 certs (OK not possible since a weekend doesnt have 4 nights) will still yield only 4 nights and not the 5th free

#2 no idea

This is a Sheraton based promo, AlMaha is not included in this promo.

Grrr! The ONE time in all these years that I MUST stay at a 4 Points (No Sheratons nearby) and it doesn't count?? At least I have my 4 nights at the Sheraton Maui and my pre-flight stay at my local Sheraton. Damn, this is a tough one, especially having just stayed at a Sheraton & 2 Westins at the start of the month. Sheraton ONLY. Must keep that in mind. Glad we still get the other promo!

Apologies if I have missed this. I can't find any reference to multiple rooms? Is it just like normal stays and up to 3 rooms?

I have 9 nights with 2 rooms booked (thankfully prior bookings counted). Assuming this will mean I get 3 free nights?

Should've searched harder . From FAQ's:

If I book and pay for multiple rooms, do I earn night credits toward the Sheraton Free Weekends promotion for all the rooms?

For the Sheraton Free Weekends promotion, a member can earn eligible nights for each room he or she books, pays for and stays in as long as he or she assigns his or her SPG number to all rooms and pays an eligible rate. So, if a member books three rooms for two nights each, he or she will earn six eligible nights for the Sheraton Free Weekends promotion.

Sorry. The Wiki didn't come up on my phone.

Anyone else think the timeframe is very short?? It won't even be credited until 2-4 weeks after the stay and has to be used by December 13.

Accommodation in September is already booked and there is no decent Sheraton in Paris for October and we are in NYC a week after the cutoff.

Mine have been posting within 2 days. I just completed 16 nights and my 3 free nights are sitting and waiting for me to decide where to go!

It's been days, not weeks.

Hi mahasamatman,

The 24 - 48 hours time quoted in William's reply is for the nights to show at the tracker.

The Free Weekend Night Awards will be credited within 2–4 weeks of the eligible stay posted.

^ to Starwood.

I just checked out of a 14-night Sheraton stay and 2 free nights posted to my account concurrent to the stay. No worries about waiting 2-4 weeks for the award certificates to show up.

Now to get some Sheraton weekend nights booked before availability dries up...

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (BB10; Touch) AppleWebKit/537.35+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/10.3.1.2576 Mobile Safari/537.35+)

Other posts in the thread seem to address this, but I'm hoping they're incorrect, so I'll ask: do we have to use and stay with these certificates by the deadline, or can we use them for stays past the deadline ?

A deadline is a deadline. The T&C are very clear that the free night must be consumed by 13 December 2015.
