Anyone see any of the bonus points yet for the 1,000 bonus points for booking on spg.com exclusive promo? I'm on my 5th stay after booking online during the promo period and no bonus points for any of the stays yet.

The T&C's for this offer say it can take up to 4 weeks after a qualifying stay to post. If this amount of time has passed, send us the confirmation number for the qualifying stay to the email address below and we'll be glad to follow up.

Though I don't like missing out on promos either, this will be the new norm. The hotels and airlines know more about our travel patterns than we probably do. Why do you think Starwood hooks up with Delta and Emirates? Part of my theory is they share frequent traveler data with one another to gain even more insights into how and why we book travel and for how much. Just was watching the news the other night and "Personal Airfares" are probably coming. You have a zipcode in the Hamptons as your home address in your profiles? Well, maybe your airfare will be 1.5x more than the guy who has a zip code from a "poor area" even though it's the same flight. It's a trade off, we get these points but they get data. Tons of data. Combine credit card data (SPG Amex), with hotel stay data (SPG) with air travel data (Cross Over Rewards) you will know your customer better than they know themselves! We shouldn't be surprised!

I have a different promo, but my promo points are posting about two days after the qualifying stays post.

MAGC points, OTOH, seem to be going AWOL lately...

I've had 5 stays and so far all other points have posted except SME8. Friday will be 4 weeks since check-out of first stay. They are sure cutting it close if indeed points will post.
