Point transfer to US Airways/AA in limbo

Point transfer to US Airways/AA in limbo
I transferred some points to my wife's US Airways account 5 days before the merger. It has been 25 days and I have not received the miles. It could be due to the name on my wife's AA account converted from her US Airways account does not match my SPG account.
The points are now in limbo because they were transferred out of the SPG account but were not received by US Airways/AA account.
Does anyone have experience of successfully getting back transferred SPG points to unmatched name's frequent flyer account?
