And another new addition:

The New Year will see Missouri’s Magnolia Hotel St. Louis convert to the Tribute Portfolio brand. Formerly the Mayfair Hotel, the historic property—listed on the National Register of Historic Places—underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation/restoration in 2013, emerging as Magnolia Hotel St. Louis. Owned by Stout Street Hospitality, the downtown hotel offers 182 guestrooms.
Also in January, Stout Street Hospitality’s Magnolia Hotel Houston will become a Tribute Portfolio hotel and the brand’s first property in Texas. The 314-room hotel features a rooftop pool, Jacuzzi and a lounge with billiards.

Funny - this place was a Le Méridien between 1995 and 2006; good to see it back in the system after a much-needed refresher. Will definitely give it a shot next time I'm in town.

Generally speaking, how's Platinum treatment at Tribute Portfolio properties? Are they consistent, vary according to property or are non existent like Design Hotels? Am interested in checking out Auberge du Vin in Argentina.

In general quite good. Stayed recently at Sthala in Ubud Bali, upgraded to river view room, no suites available as still under construction. Offered plat amenity and took the breakfast, nothing exceptional like drinks vouchers or gift but think each property will differ in their level of offerings

My only stay with them (le metropolitan paris) was nothing special.

I have no plan to return to one of them soon.
