Platinum 75 or 100

Hello,
I have reached Platinum 75 but am not sure if I should go for the 100 or not.
If anybody would talk about there experience and there point of views I would appreciate it.
I look forward in hearing from you.

100 nights comes with an ambassador. You can read this thread to figure out if it's worth it or not for you:

I am one night shy of 75 and don't think it's worth it.

I find it much easier to manage my own reservations, I would stop at 75 if you're going to be out of pocket to make 100

Absolutely not worth it in my mind. I hit 90 Starwood nights last year and didn't even consider 100.

75 is worth hitting for 4x points.

I just hit 100 and it's kind of a 'so what' level. Additionally, i imagine anythign the 'Ambassador' will do or set up for you will be at a premium vs. what I could book or organize for myself on personal travel.

How far away are you? If you're at 99, and can spend 2K points on a Cat 1 property nearby, I'd recommend going ahead. Spending 7K or $125/nt for a 3 night run - certainly not.

I've had my ambassador chase a few things down for me, so it's nice to have someone to save some time. But as noted above, most of us travel enough that we know how to, and prefer to, handle most of these things ourselves.

I did manage to get an SNA redeemed for an upgrade where online was telling me it couldn't even be used, so there are some "I couldn't do that myself" opportunities.

I'm at 96 nights and decided to go for it. Then again, I live in Orlando and hotels are dirt cheap plus it's my birthday and we couldn't get away so we're hoteling it. So what if it's a property I drive past every day

NOT worth it.

Imho the Ambassador is useless. YMMV

I mostly concur with that. The first ambassador I had was downright poor -- she failed to respond to email and phone messages repeatedly, wasting lots of my time. Then I had a really good one -- but only for a month until she got promoted.

Now I have something in between. Someone who basically makes reservations, but doesn't go beyond the service you already get with the platinum line. I won't be going out of my way to steer to *wood after 50 nights next year.

The Plat-75 extra point benefit is somewhat over-rated. If I look at my total points over a year, it amounts to very little. You get a lot more points from the plat amenity, MAGC, and various bonuses.

Sounds like Starwood needs to sweeten the pot if they want to entice people to be 75;100 Plats

Definitely. I'm at 93 nights, have an amazing ambassador, and still don't think it's worth hitting 100 again lol

Easy fix:

Plat 50 - 10 SNAs
Plat 75 - 15 SNAs
Plat 100 - 20 SNAs
