Received the email this morning. 5k points for every 5 nights, up to 15k points. I'm happy. I'll easily net an additional 10k points, perhaps more. Perhaps not the most lucrative promo, but it's better than nothing.

I didn't read the T&C, but see that another poster said the bonus nights don't count towards lifetime status. That's too bad, but I think that's reasonable. tls

2k per 2 stays up to 6k.
87 nights currently. When I received the offer I was probably at about 78 nights. Platinum just this year, gold I think comes with the SPG card - so I was gold in 2012/2013

While the Amex SPG card provides 2 stay, 5 night reduction in the requirement to hit status, it does not offer Gold on it's own.

I probably have to stop reading the Starwood Forum because as a Lifetime Platinum to keep reading all of these promo offers received by others, I just keep getting more angry and annoyed. I guess my loyalty and that of others is not as valuable to the corporation as others. 900+ nights on my own dime means nothing. It is very discouraging. Oh I get it, there must be an even better promotion I am getting, just hasn't arrived yet....right. Happy Thanksgiving Starwood.
