Especially to apply SNAs, you need to be able to look at the reservation details in your SPG account. Contacting the hotel won't work.

Interesting proposition, especially if your Virtuoso upgrade is guaranteed at the time of booking.

Anyone have experience w/ this? I've never been SPG Plat so have no idea how SNAs work.

Just want to throw it out there...this site: http://www.classictravel.com - referenced earlier in this thread as a 'Virtuoso rate checking website' is giving off bad info.

1) Checked the rate for a V hotel in Cordoba Spain this morning. It spat back a rate of 170 euro a night... called the hotel, the rate was 153 euro per night.

2) This site gave off wrong amenities at the Andaz Papagayo - said upgrade at check-in, when in actuality it's upgrade at booking.

If anyone knows a better V rate checking site, please post here.

If the Virtuoso amenity says "Upgrade at the time of booking" - that language rules.



Just this morning booked two separate stays and the upgrade was at the time of booking.

St. Regis NYC (upgraded on the phone from Grand Deluxe to 1-bedroom suite)
