I called the SPG Platinum line in South Korea and asked about this. The lady on the phone seemed familiar with the program. She told me once SPG Members register online for the promotion they are eligible.

This part sucks though. Reservations have to be made from February 17 for stays from February 17-May 17, 2014. This screws me over royally because as a loyal SPG platinum member I made a bunch of bookings before February 17.

Also, the Velocity Frequent Flier Mile program and the Bring On The Nights program can be stackable/run concurrently. Stays that overlap both promotional time periods will pick up benefits from both promotions.

Still waiting for the lurkers to reply, but that's what the SPG Plat. rep in South Korea told me.

Let me vent again -- I'm peeved that I made bookings in January and early part of February for the next few months. Half of my pre Feb. 17 bookings are not cancelable. Way to go SPG to reward loyal customers who are supporting you.

T&Cs states that "Bonus Starpoint Offer is valid for eligible stays booked between February 17, 2014 and March 31, 2014 and completed between February 17, 2014 and May 17, 2014." Thus I can safely say that only bookings made during the period of Feb 17 to Mar 31 2014 are eligible.

Question for one of the lurkers.

If I change my stay from February 22-27 to March 22-27 on February 18, when the original reservation was made before February 17 will it allow that stay to be eligible for this promotion? I called a hotel where my stay is non-refundable and the reservation lady offered to do that, but I'm not sure if that would qualify the stay. The confirmation number stays the same.

Did anybody get an e-mail with confirmation of registering? I entered my data and gave the welcome message like other people said, but unlike other promo's I didn't receive an e-mail with the confirmation...
