This is a very welcome feature. Thanks for the heads up as it will impact my early 2014 bookings.

Luke warm promotion at best. I'll take the points, but wish SPG would get a little more creative with promotions

Yep. I might be forgetting something, but haven't we basically gone from: 2x points to 2x points + 2500 for every 5 nights to 2500 for every 5 nights and 5000 at 25th night?

I'm calling the next one: 2x points + 5000 at the 25th night

I'll gladly take the points as well, but we're approaching Marriott levels of predictability and snoozability!

Thanks for the advance notice. its nice that there are no exclusions.

if a stay begins before the starting date of this promotion and ends within the promotion period will all nights be eligible for receiving bonus points? for example checkin Jan 03 , checkout Jan 08

Better than nothing, but a little hard to get excited about. Definitely not incentive enough to induce new bookings, which is the ultimate goal of a promo, no?

Yes, it is a bit repetitive, but the no-exclusions piece is huge. Perhaps they've found a promo the franchisees are all comfortable with.

The SPG property I would stay at in Q1 is a 20 minute further drive for me to the office, but this may push me to stay there rather than the corporate property.
