Paging Lurkers...Trying to book a hot escape at the Montreal Westin. May 9-11.
Hot escapes calendar shows a rate of $137 per night for my nights.
When I select the dates it then brings me to a reservations page which also shows the $137 + tax for my night (and yes I am signed in to my account to get the 5% SPG discount).
When I click "reserve," it brings up a rate of $151 + tax.
Grr.
(Sorry for the lack of screenshots, not sure how to get them on Chrome.)

Just noticed this.
Click "View All Deals"
Hot escapes hotels are now sorted and summarised by region, and then by country.

I am wondering, though, why there are 3 different listings for the United States :
Vistana Vac Resorts Division
GX-Starwood Division
North America Division
I'm sure this will be something to do with Starwood's internal organisation, but it's rather confusing for the uninitiated lay user.

Search appears to be broken this week, also. Search for San Francisco, and all California properties show up.

Another bug :
]
with the currency set to GBP, the rate calendar is showing the correct rate, but the selected rate at the bottom right is still showing the USD amount, even though the label is GBP.
The multi-currency functionality really could do with some proper testing.

FWIW, www.beatthetimer.com no longer redirects to Hot Escapes (nor works at all, for that matter).

FWIW, the advertising rules in the UK don't permit 'before taxes' rates to be displayed, so all the rates you see for properties in the UK are always inclusive of taxes.
