Sadly, I am at 142 days and 12 stays for the year....

Having achieved all possible levels for the year? Is there any benefit to continue staying at an SPG property? (i.e., some secret level at 150) At least Marriott you can roll over nights....

Getting Platinum benefits when you stay. Upgrades, bonus points, etc., etc. Better than being treated as dirt as a new chain. You can also work your way towards lifetime status, though your constraint appears to be the 10 year requirement, not the nights.

If you do this on a regular basis, you should look at maintaining top tier in two programs. I've been PLT at both MR and SPG for 10+ years - nice to have if you do 100-125+ nights every year.

Cheers,
Congrats! I can't wait to hit that. 3, perhaps 4 more years to go.

Crossed 50 nights for the fourth straight year last weekend at the Sheraton SD Hotel and Marina. Heading for 75 and then 100 later in the year. I love my Ambassador and want to keep her.

Just hovering around 60 nights myself, but what I have done is at least one night in each of the nine brands.

Anyone else...?
