I hope you get them quickly and get your seat. I'm not too bummed out...I think I can get a 1st class seat using a different route, but I really wanted the suite. Do you have any idea how likely a "waitlist" is to clear? I understand the waitlist may not clear until just hours before the flight. If I don't get cleared will I not get on the flight at all? or will I be given an option for a different seat on the same plane?

I wanted to post an update on my SPG to Krisflyer Miles transfer.
I initiated a transfer on Jan 15th and it has been 18 days and the miles still have not posted. I called SPG and they said they sent the miles transfer to Singapore Air within 3 days of the request. I called Singapore Air and was told it would take 6 - 8 weeks for the transfer to post. I explained that I had transferred miles in the past and it took about 7 days. She looked in her records and said they posted my last transfer in an "expedited" fashion, and that these miles would be at least two more weeks. So, if you are going to transfer miles from SPG to Krisflyer make sure you do it well before you need them and expect it to take a month or more to post to Krisflyer.

I got my SPG to Krisflyer miles today... So, 19 days from January 15. Glad to have them finally in my account. I couldn't get the original tickets I wanted, but I hope to work something out.

I transferred 20K SPG (+5K bonus) to my SQ KF. The 5000 miles appeared within 2 days, but not the 20,000 miles. Is it normal that they get posted separately? It now has been 6 days since transfer date.

I have done probably 50 transfers from SPG to SQ-KF and that has never happened to me. That is really bizarre.

My bad. The posted 5000 mile transfer was from Chase (took 2 days). I am still waiting for my 20+5K from SPG to come through.
